The 2011 Heaven Can Wait 24 Hour Race and One Lap Dash, being sailed on Lake Macquarie is just over a week away and entries are flooding in. The Royal Motor Yacht Club, at Toronto on the western shore of the Lake wil lbe abuzz and the Heaven Can Wait Friday Night welcome dinner is keenly anticipated.
Last years event was one of the highlights of the regatta.
With special guests Nathan Outteridge, current Moth and former 49er World Champion from Lake Macquarie, one of the hottest of our Olympic sailing prospects and most importantly HCW One Lap Dash Race Record holder and Australian Sailing squad 470 young prospect Will Ryan, currently 10th ranked in the world both from Lake Macquarie.
The two sailors will talk about their sailing careers and there will be an informal Q&A session.
As a participant in the 2011 Heaven Can Wait Charity Regatta, you won’t want to miss the HCW Welcome Dinner, to be held the Friday night before the big race starts. Numbers are limited.
This will be a sell out function so please book now!!

When: Friday, September 30, 2011, 7 pm for 7.30 pm
Where: Royal Motor Yacht Club Toronto
What: Two Course Dinner Main and Dessert (alternative serves) - Gluten Free and Vegetarian available.
How much: $28.50 per person; alcohol sales from the bar
