Doyle Sails New Zealand will once again be exhibiting in the Superyacht Pavilion at the upcoming Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS), running from 19-20 November in Amsterdam. Our stand will be in its usual spot in the main hall - stand 10.715 - and we look forward to welcoming you to the show.

Stratis ICE. Sail Making Genius
In 2013 Stratis ICE, our innovative new flat tape sail fibre, was formally launched to market and named a finalist in the highly-competitive DAME Innovation Award's 2013. A blend of carbon and the flat tape ICE fibre, in the last year ICE has proved an increasingly popular choice for yachts of all sizes thanks to its combined offerings of weight saving, increased durability and performance gains. We can state with confidence that ICE is the highest modulus blended fibre sail on the market, offering better durability and reliability than any other blended sail.

No flex fatigue | No shrinkage | Lightweight | Performance focused
Although a newer product, ICE makes use of a lamination system that is a development of our existing, long proven Stratis technology. ICE's market presence continues to grow, with ICE sails on board superyachts and racing yachts including 52m Red Dragon, 37m Moonbird, 30.5m Indio, 30m maxi racer Rio 100 and the Open 60 Hugo Boss.
For more information, please come to our stand to talk to one of our expert team, or download our ICE factsheet here.
Radial Stratis Gennakers
Another product that we are seeing ever-growing interest in is our Radial Stratis Gennakers. One of the principle benefits of our Ultra Light Taffeta product has been in its application on our radial reaching sails. Designed by Richard Bouzaid, and making use of Stratis technology, the sails offer the huge benefits of being thread-aligned and load engineered while still being radially shaped. These sails, proven on the race circuit, have moved the benchmark for light and strong and stable reaching gennakers. Some of the many boats making use of our Radial Stratis Gennakers include Shockwave, Bella Mente, Caro and BOQ Team Australia to name but a few.
