Events Clothing is continuing its long standing support of New Zealand yachting, and has teamed up with an Auckland based 18 foot skiff team for the 2012/13 season.

18ft Skiff Team, with Riley Dean, John Little and James Gell, has already competed at the Nespresso International 18ft Skiff Regatta in San Francisco in August, coming a creditable ninth (and third NZ boat) after a tough start to the regatta in trying conditions.

The team trains and races out of the Auckland Sailing Club and will be challenging the front of the fleet as it looks towards the JJ Giltinan in Sydney during February 2013.

Events clothing is an Auckland based company specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of crew uniforms to super yachts and motor yachts throughout the world. Events currently service and supply boats looking to outfit their crews in distinctive quality uniforms, and offer both off the shelf and custom (made to order) range of apparel. Check out their range and what they have to offer at www.eventsclothing.co.nz

The team has also joined up with Core Builders Composites, the Warkworth based builders of Oracle Team USA's Americas Cup defence. Core is a technical partner and allows the team to utilise their world class facilities, equipment and expertise. This is an invaluable partnership that has allowed the team to refurbish an older hull and also put together two new rigs for the coming season.

The team would also like to thank Graham and Ann Catley for their continuous support of the New Zealand 18ft skiff fleet.
