Australian company, U.S. Yachts, will have six yachts on show at the 2013 Sydney International Boat Show, in August at Darling Harbour.

Prospective yacht owners will be able to see four Hunter yachts – with the new Hunter 40 making its Australian debut – and two Salona Yachts, with the 35 making its first appearance in Australia.

The Hunter 40 will make her debut at the Show, and has already been a big hit with many sales Australia wide. The H40 is designed specifically for extended cruising and live-aboard comfort, With its pleasing design aesthetic, topside sailing performance and feature-rich amenities, along with both the focus on safety and seamless construction Marlow-Hunter is known for, the H40 proudly represents Marlow Hunters ongoing commitment to design, innovation, quality and value for sailors around the world.

Other Hunter yachts on display include the remarkably popular 33 and 36 and the magnificent coastal cruising 45.

US Yachts is the Australian distributor for Salona Yachts, a range of performance cruising yachts from 35 – 60. The yachts are made by AD Boats in Split, on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast. AD Boats is part of the Prevent Group, a German multinational company with over 12,000 employees, with more than 35 production facilities worldwide and a major global supplier to the car industry, in particular Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen.

Salona Yachts are carefully designed for use as fast family cruisers as well as for serious offshore or international racing, and excel in heavy weather.

The Salona 35 will be making its Australian debut at the Sydney International Boat Show, and we will also showcase the Salona 38.

CEO of US Yachts Matt Hayes is looking forward to showing off the Hunter yachts, which compare very favourably to other European brands. 'It’s always rewarding to see how people react to seeing the Hunter yachts up close for the first time. The design of the yachts, the brilliant interiors and the value for money when compared to the European brands puts Hunter to the forefront for many potential yacht owners, whether they are looking for day cruisers or to live aboard,' Mr Hayes said.

'We also look forward to showcasing the Salona yachts which are perfect for those who like to race but do not want to give up all their creature comforts. They are performance racing yachts, but their interiors also lend themselves to cruising.

Hunter Yachts and Salona Yachts on display at the Sydney International Boat Show, on from 1-5 August, 2012.
