Boaters are reminded to keep clear of a section of Newcastle Harbour this weekend for the safe staging of an aerobatics display.
Roads and Maritime Services has granted an exclusive use aquatic licence to Graeme Boyd Motorcycles to host the event on the harbour between noon and 1pm this Sunday 14 June.
The area will be downstream of the Port Hunter Sailing Club at Dyke Point and the Queens Wharf and will be marked by buoys and monitored by control vessels.
Vessels not involved in the event should not enter the marked area unless authorised by a boating safety officer or a police officer.
Roads and Maritime reminds people to wear a lifejacket when boating, especially in vessels smaller than 4.8 metres when alone, at night or offshore.
