Changed boating conditions at Glebe Island Bridge in Rozelle Bay

Boaters should take care navigating around the Glebe Island Bridge in Rozelle Bay from next Monday when work starts on essential maintenance of bridge navigational markers.
Work will be completed between Monday ninth November and Monday 15 February, weather permitting.
No work will be carried out over the holiday period between Monday 21 December 2015 and Sunday three January 2016.
A maintenance barge will be positioned use across the eastern channel at various stages during the three-month project. The channel will remain open to vessels up to 12 metres with portable message signs directing them through the area.
The area will be marked by buoys and monitored by safety control vessels.
Boaters are reminded to wear a lifejacket when on the water, especially in craft under 4.8 metres long when alone, at night or offshore.
