Volvo Ocean Race, Clipper, GOR and more sailing news

The Volvo Ocean Race fleet is slowly, ever so slowly, making its way to Auckland, New Zealand, battling through the Doldrums.

The Global Ocean Race fleet is slowly arriving in Uruguay from New Zealand at the end of a 6,300 mile journey, with two of the Class40 yachts now in Punta del Este.

There is news too from the Clipper fleet as the yachts depart on leg 9 from Qindago (China) to Oakland, California.
