Ahhh... when too much sailing is never enough!!!
As the 2011 Rolex Sydney Hobart race gets ever closer the Hick 34 Midnight Rambler, the 1998 Hobart winner will be heading for Lord Howe this coming weekend in the Gosford to Lord Howe race and the 2003 Hobart winner, Grant Wharington's Wild Thing is heading for the auction block in Brisbane.
Sail-World's Olympic and Volvo Ocean Race series are about to kick off with the Sydney to Hobart series close behind.
World-wide we will be sending out 8 million of these Sail-World event dedicated newsletters and that is before we start the America's Cup series.

Rolex Middle Sea Race - First boats cross the finish line KPMS,  Rolex Middle Sea Race - Early this morning, at 0054 CEST, the maxi Esimit Europa 2, crossed the finish line in Marsamxett Harbour, Valetta, Malta, to take the line honours win. The Slovenian maxi completed the course in an elapsed time of 61 hours, 24 minutes and 35 seconds. In 2010, Esimit Europa2 was also the line honours winner, with an elapsed time of 54 hours, 52 minutes, 32 seconds.... [more] Share this story
