SCIBS coverage, PlanetSolar in Brisbane, Honda BF250 previewAnother week of industry insight and product presentation, from Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and in the lead up to Melbourne next weekend and the Sydney International Boat Show, end of July.
John Scott, Navico Chief Operating Officer Asia Pacific sheds some light on consumer and industry demands for electronics, the growth and potential of the company's three brands, and hints at something exciting on the horizon for the Sydney International Boat Show.
Also, you can hear it straight from the top brass at Sanctuary Cove/Mulpha, Alison Quinn, executive general manager, who reiterates the developer's support of the boat show and continued investment in the event into the future.
Our video coverage has proven very popular, so thanks for the feedback and comments.
At the Sydney show, we will again have a large video and reporting team. We will be capturing more of the exhibitors and show offerings, so get in touch if you'd like to be on our list.
This week, the sleek PlanetSolar vessel is in Brisbane, the only Australian port on its round the world odyssey. It is trying to prove solar power is reliable and viable as a source of power for yachts and other craft and judging by the media and public attention, it has started to win over hearts and minds.
There are also a myriad of products released due for release this year, among them the new Honda BF 250 engine - which will debut at the Melbourne International Boat Show next weekend and then in Sydney in July.
If you haven't already visited, take a look at our newest site: www.fishingboating-world.com which launched in May. There will be new facets added all the time, including tips from fishing legend, Dave 'Nugget' Downie, as well as features and even some giveaways.
