Welcome to this week's edition of Sail-World.com's UK newsletter.
The Rolex Sydney Hobart Race starting on Boxing Day and Sir Robin Knox-Johnston will be on the start line sailing aboard Richard Dobbs British registered, Swan 68 Titania of Cowes. Also onboard will be Mark Covill and Andy Green (Helmet Cam, World Match Racing commentator).

Sail Melbourne is under way Down Under, and competition in the Finn Class is particularly competitive. Ed Wright leads the class, with Ben Ainslie currently back in sixth. Andrew Millis is fourth.
The London International Boat Show has a new look, Andy McGovern has joined the RYA Scotland, the Two-Handed Transatlantic Race has been relaunched by the Royal Western Yacht Club and we news from the dinghy events still brave enough to be sailing.
And Dee Caffari is on countdown for the Barcelona World Race starting on December 31st. Read all the latest from her camp....
