Sail-World Asia is heading back to Korea tomorrow for the Korea International Boat Show and the WMRT Korea Match Cup. Having been there for the Korea Cup only ten days ago, it is beginning to feel as if Korea is figuring large on the regional 'marine scene'. We went to KIBS the last two years, so it will be interesting to see how the event - and all the ancillary sideshows - has expanded. Korea undoubtedly has big plans for its marine industry - and the gumption to make things happen. So watch this space.
Koh Samui has wrapped up for another year, and Ray Roberts is the Asian Yachting Grand Prix champion. Closing report here. They've been getting their boots blown off in Sardinia at the latest LV Trophy event, unlike ICAP Leopard who is wallowing in the Atlantic.
SailRocket is back for more high speed punishment, and the RHKYC has signed a swimwear sponsor for their Around the Island Race. We suggest that every boat in the race should have a swimwear model on board - it'd be great for the pictures!
