Wish You Were Here. Six Senses Phuket Raceweek Guy Nowell, Sail-World Asia,  We have great racing in Hong Kong, but so often we can't see the scenery at all. The atmospherics just don't cut the mustard. I have to bring my camera to Phuket on regular visits (hooray!) just to make sure that the clever electronics inside can still see blue stuff. 2009 Topper Worlds - GBR dominates Sail-World.com,  After early public unhappiness with race management the 2009 Topper Worlds sailors calmed down enough to complete the series. Young British sailor Andrew Bridgeman won the Topper Worlds title in the final two races at Ebensee in Austria. As expected the Japanese contingent is the largest with sixteen sailors out of the overall 80 entries from 30 countries, but perhaps the surprise of these worlds, that Canada has the next largest group of sailors, with 11 sailors, ahead of the USA with 8 and Great Britain 7.... 2009 UK Access Class National Championships Chris Weston, Northampton Sailability,  Sailors with a wide range of disabilities took part in the 2009 Access Class National Championships at Northampton SC on 11/12 July. The most successful club was Frensham Pond Sailability with one National Champion and two runners up. Alinghi shows all at Media Open Day in Le Bouveret Sail-World and JPJ,  Alinghi held a Media Day at their base in Le Bouveret, Switzerland, to allow invited media a close look at Alinghi 5 afloat. Media were not allowed in the 90ft LWL catamaran but had the opportunity to look over the boat and interview her crew and design team. The Harwich Race Sunday 19 July 2009 Event media,  The Harwich Race was run Sunday 19 July 2009. The Harwich race started at the Branklet buoy in the Croch with a westerly breeze of up to 22 knots and a foul tide. With a downwind first leg, Class 3 got off to a flying start.
