2009 Topper Worlds - GBR dominates Sail-World.com, After early public unhappiness with race management the 2009 Topper Worlds sailors calmed down enough to complete the series. Young British sailor Andrew Bridgeman won the Topper Worlds title in the final two races at Ebensee in Austria. 2009 UK Access Class National Championships Chris Weston, Northampton Sailability, Sailors with a wide range of disabilities took part in the 2009 Access Class National Championships at Northampton SC on 11/12 July. The most successful club was Frensham Pond Sailability with one National Champion and two runners up. Media were not allowed in the 90ft LWL catamaran but had the opportunity to look over the boat and interview her crew and design team. The Harwich race started at the Branklet buoy in the Croch with a westerly breeze of up to 22 knots and a foul tide. With a downwind first leg, Class 3 got off to a flying start.
