Zhik is pleased to announce a three year partnership with the newly formed alliance of the Australian 29er and 49er/49erFX Associations, which includes sponsorship of the joint Australian championship for the next three years.

The partnership includes sponsorship of the Zhik 9er National Championship, which is presently being sailed at McCrae Yacht Club in Victoria as well as the next two 9er National Championships which are due to be held at Royal Brighton Yacht Club (VIC) in 2013/2014 and Western Australia in 2014/2015.

Zhik will also activate the sponsorship through the creation of a special competition within the classes which will be announced shortly.

Zhik CEO, Brian Conolly commented that 'Zhik has been a long-time supporter of all the 9er classes both here in Australia and internationally. With the unification of the three classes, it made perfect sense for Zhik to make a long term commitment to support the 9er classes here in Australia.'

President of the Australian 29er Class Association, David Price said that, 'For Zhik to commit to the 9er classes for three years gives us great confidence that we will be able to continue to increase participation numbers within the 29er/49er/49erFX classes and cement our place as one of the leading sailing association’s in Australia,' He added 'To have a strong brand such as Zhik support us is just fantastic.'

The 2012/2013 Zhik 9er Australian Championship continues today and concludes on January 2nd 2013.
