Summer Sailstice 2014 - June 21/22 - Mark the diary!

'Summer Sailstice 2013 - here is where they celebrated'    .

It's time to put the date in your diary for Summer Sailstice in 2014. If you put Summer Sailstice on your 2014 Sailing Calendar you'll be putting your boat, club or class on the world map! This is the invitation from John Arndt, founder of Summer Sailstice.

Summer Sailstice 2013 joined thousands of sailors in a worldwide celebration of sailing. Thousands of sails were hoisted, miles sailed and smiles shared.

Summer Sailstice -  .. .

As you look forward to the 2014 sailing season you can help the world capture a day in the life of sailing by adding your June 21 sailing adventures to the website.

Summer Sailstice - being celebrated last year -  .. .
Cruising, daysailing or racing - make sure whatever you're doing on Summer Sailstice weekend is on the map. Forward this to your club or fleet event organizers so they can add Summer Sailstice on June 21, 2014 to the calendar. This year it is the actual solstice!

Another idea is to join Summer Sailstice on FACEBOOK! - you don't want to miss any sailing!

Summer Sailstice is a global sailing celebration started in 2001 to unite the saililng world on the weekend closest to the summer solstice.

Sail locally, celebrate globally. To learn more about it, go to the Summer Sailstice website, or, if you have a question, put it to founder John Arndt by emailing john@summersailstice.com
