Seawind Whitsunday Bareboat Open Day Channel Whitsundays
Monday the 16th of August will reveal the Seawind Whitsunday Bareboat Open Day. Featuring a display of 15 premium bare boat vessels and two fashion parades it is the ideal way for sailors and shore crew in the Meridien Marina's Airlie Beach Race Week to kick off their 'lay-day'.

The expected sunny day conditions will provide a perfect backdrop to the day. In a feast of cruising craft and fashion, everyone is invited to the free event and find out what on earth a 'bare boat' is.

The fashion parades at 10.00am and midday are themed Beach, Boat and Bay and include rleading international and local fashion and nautical brands, along with a bit of fun.

Exhibiting in the boat display will be sailing and power, catamarans and yachts from Cumberland Charter Yachts, Queensland Yacht Charters, Whitsunday Escape, Charter Yachts Australia and Queensland Private Yacht Charters.

Event sponsor Seawind Catamarans will have their renowned 1000XL, award winning 1160 and new 'blue water tested' 1250 on display. Fashion from Beachworx, La Rochelle, Quadrant Marine, Aqua Dive and 'Grottyachty'.

A prize draw will pose the impossible question of 'How many bareboat companies are based at Abel Point Marina?'. The first correct entry drawn will receive a $500 cash prize.
