Sail-World.com : Product of the Week: the Bucket Base
Product of the Week: the Bucket Base

'Bucket Base - why did I not think of that'    .

This might seem too simple for words, but if you've ever tried to stop a bucket sliding when and where you don't want it to slide in a rock-and-roll anchorage, you'll just love this product of the week. A bucket might be one of the handiest non-sailing pieces of gear on a boat, but it can create issues when it slides all over the deck (or, worse, topples), creating a hazard or damage to surfaces.

So, here's a new Bucket Base, which is a sturdy ring designed to minimize bucket sliding and toppling, helping prevent the creation of new scratches across the deck.

Stopping problems before they happen, this non-skid, non-marking ring won't damage boat decks. It helps prevent scratches in fiberglass and teak, while keeping a bucket in place. A bucket won't fall over with brushes in it either.

UV resistant and durable, the Bucket Base, produced by Shurhold, fits most 19-liter buckets.

Dedicated to educating boat owners, Shurhold provides key tips for boat value preservation at www.shurhold.com. Inventor of the One Handle Does It All system, Shurhold manufactures specialty care items and accessories to clean, polish and detail.

For more information go to www.shurhold.com.

If your local marine store does not stock the Bucket Base, run your eye down this world-wide list of distributors to find the outlet nearest you:
