Organizers and Sponsors are in their final days of preparation for the 13th Asia Superyacht Rendezvous. Most of the yachts have arrived, captains, crew and VIP guests are flying in from all over the world to make sure they are involved in three days of sun, sailing and socializing. Next week the Asia Superyacht Rendezvous will be welcoming sponsors FEADSHIP and Boat International Media to our host venue Kata Rocks, and the photographers get their cameras ready to capture some unforgettable moments and glorious images in Phuket’s famous Kata Bay.

ASR hosts Kata Rocks have been working tirelessly to make sure everything is perfect, and ready for the attendees to enjoy. From the food and cocktails, to entertainment and decoration, all that’s left to do is welcome the guests, and watch them take in the breathtaking views and marvel at the exceptional luxury this venue has to offer.

This year’s ASR will be attended by nine beautiful superyachts, anchored in Kata Bay. The Rendezvous will greet three motor yachts, M/Y Maid Marian 2, M/Y Moonsand and M/Y Maverick. These marvellous vessels - beautiful engineering mixed with elegant interiors - really are a sight to behold. ASR will also be hosting six breathtaking sailing yachts, the magnificent S/Y Argo, the beautiful S/Y Capricorn, who will be joining us for the first time, as well as the dazzling S/Y Intrigue. Add to the fleet the stunning S/Y Schooner Sunshine, the luxurious S/Y Yanneke Too and the very powerful S/Y Shamoun, returning.

The Rendezvous will kick off early evening on December 16th and it will be full steam ahead from start to finish, beginning with a ‘boat hop with cocktails’, so that guest can get to know the different boats, individually. Next, cue two exciting days of sailing, when the sailing yachts will be invited to race one another – and no doubt work up an appetite for the evening’s entertainments! This year’s evening events will include the much-loved Feadship Challenge and a Boat International Media Gala Dinner. There’s also include a Crew Party, sponsored by Sevenstar Yacht Transport, at the REKATA Beach Club on Kata Beach on the evening of 18th at which both attending crews and local crew will be invited to dance the night away.

Every year the Asia Superyacht Rendezvous endeavours to exceed expectations and this year will be no exception. From 16th – 18th December, all eyes are on Kata Bay for what promises to be another fabulous occasion.
