Melbourne Sea Survival Safety Course - I'll be back - and I am!

'Sea Safety Survival - practising ’The Huddle’ heat preservation exercise'    .
Perhaps it was Bob 'Freight Train' Williams' fantastic article here on Sail-World recently or maybe it was our involvement in the ABC's recent edition of 'Australian Story'.

No matter what, the phone and emails have been running hot with enquiries for another of the Ocean Racing Club of Victoria's (ORCV) terrific Sea Survival and Safety Course (SSSC) to be run at the Sandringham Yacht Club in Melbourne- and we only did the last one at the end of September.

Why wouldn't it be popular too. You'd have to think it was essential training for anyone venturing offshore - so exceed the minimum requirements and have the whole crew with an SSSC Certificate this Christmas time.

Sea Safety Survival - flare drill -  .. .

Get in quick as this is a strictly limited season with just a few seats on offer for the classes beginning on November 8, 2009.

You will need to have your forms in by November 4 and you can get them from the ORCV site
