34th America’s Cup - Racing postponed on Day 7
Wed, 18 Sep 2013
With winds consistently reaching above the speed limit, racing in the 34th America’s Cup was postponed on Tuesday in San Francisco. Races 11 and 12 have been rescheduled for Wednesday, beginning at 1:15 pm PT and 2:15 pm PT, respectively.
The wind limit on Tuesday was 20.1 knots, a figure adjusted with the strong ebb tide. Conditions are expected to be more favorable on Wednesday.
In the U.S., the America’s Cup Finals will be broadcast live on the NBC Sports Network. Replays are available on the America’s Cup YouTube channel. Internationally, the match can be viewed in more than 170 territories. All racing is also live on the YouTube channel (subject to territorial restrictions).
