Canfield’s singin’ in the rain - Monsoon Cup 2013 OnEdition / WMRT http://wmrt.com/

Now in its ninth year, the Monsoon Cup, considered by many to be the most formidable leg of the Alpari World Match Racing Tour, will see 12 teams battling for the event title and six fighting for the World Championship.

With a million dollars of prizemoney on this event - there's plenty at stake!

Eight teams are tour card holders, three are wildcards and one Malaysian team who won the Liga Layar, the local match racing challenge which was held prior to the Monsoon Cup. British skipper Ian Williams and his GAC Pindar team are chasing their fifth World Championship title, which would surpass the current record holder – Australian Peter Gilmour with four titles.

The Monsoon Cup will be streamed from 26th – 30th November between 10:00 - 17:00 local time (GMT +8).
