Getting down to business before medal races at ISAF Sailing World Cup

by Daniel Smith on 25 Apr 2014 ISAF Sailing World Cup Hyères 2014 - The penultimate day of racing at ISAF Sailing World Cup Hyères is a key one with the Medal Race places decided across the ten Olympic events.

Racing in the 2.4mR and Sonar reaches the end zone as the action draws to a conclusion.

Anything is impossible in the Paralympic events with any one of leading three in the 2.4mR and any of the top four in the Sonar in with a shout of taking gold.

Around the boat parks in Hyères there are contrasting reports.

There will either be a serious lack of breeze or the light variable morning east north easterly at 5-8 knots will veer to the east at 10-14 knots. It will move to a south eastern direction in the afternoon easing throughout the day.

Either way the day will decide the Paralympic and Medal Race places.
