Finn Gold Cup – Some photos to wrap up the event

by Robert Deaves on 1 Dec 2015 2015 Finn Gold Cup – After a successful week in Takapuna both on and off the water here are a few of the best photos to end our coverage. There is more to come out of the event, but that is for later.

Here we reflect on a fantastic week's sailing with an amazing performance from Giles Scott, retaining his world title and joining a select group of three-time Finn World Champions. There is surely so much more to come from this talented sailor. And we must not forget the outstanding achievements of Jonathan Lobert and Vasilij Zbogar winning their first Finn World Championship medals, after many years of coming so close. It was an incredible and fascinating battle between sailing's gladiators on the Hauraki Gulf. What a week we had in Takapuna.
