The Saturday evening music concert will be a celebration for Portsmouth and feature acts that cater for all ages and tastes. Taking place within the Waterfront Festival Arena on Southsea Common, the concert will be a paid-for ticket with purchasing details, line-up and schedule details to be announced in the next few weeks. The concert will be organised alongside the official event delivery provider 'A Stones Throw Events Co', the team behind the Victorious Festival. Their experience of delivering a world-class music festival in Portsmouth will ensure a fantastic night of entertainment.

Sir Keith Mills, GBE, The America's Cup World Series Portsmouth event Chairman said: 'In my opinion, the America's Cup has always been about combining a premier sporting event with a full onshore programme that delivers the widest possible appeal to a large and growing audience. Adding the evening programme and making maximum use of the facilities set up for the day time means we can provide a true spectacle in Portsmouth for local, national and international visitors.'

The Massed Bands of Her Majesty's Royal Marines will host their renowned South Coast Proms two night concert on the Thursday and Friday evenings. The band will take centre stage and enthral the audience with a spectacular two hour concert each night performing a sparkling selection of classical, contemporary, military and mainstream music in glorious surroundings under the summer sky.

The evening programme over three nights adds to the ever-increasing schedule of onshore entertainment during the four day sailing event. Tickets for the two ticketed arenas, the Waterfront Festival Arena (Free-to-view tickets) and the Fanzone Arena (Paid-for tickets) have experienced huge amounts of interest with over 90,000 ticket bookings made to date. Fans are encouraged to secure their place now to avoid disappointment.
