Day three started off with more light wind from the northwest, building slightly as the day continued. Racing was done in six - ten knots, with shifty winds and changing conditions.
There was no change to Laser fleet leader board today with Forrest Waccholz (ON) in first, followed closely by teammate Braden Garvey (ON) and Conrad Vandlik (USA) in second and third place respectively. In the 4.7 fleet Henryk Luczynski (ON) leads, followed by Benjamin Derbyshire (BAH) in second and Johnny Walton (USA) in third.
In the 420, Arie Moffat and Pat Wilson (ON) continue to lead going into the last day of the championship series, followed by Terra Lanteigne and Georgia Lewin-LaFrance (NS) in second and Gray Snyder and Jack Porter (ON) in third.
In skiff action Eric Lyall and Andrew Moreno (BC) continue to sit in first for the 29er fleet, while teammates Freja and Astrid Frykman (BC) are second and Cameron Shaw and Henry Lockyer (NS/ON) are third.
RS:X sailor Ignacio Berenguer (MEX) moves into first in the North American Championship, followed by Gabriel Verrier Paquette(CAN) in second and Raul Lopez (USA) in third. Cristina Oritz Vivas (MEX) leads the female RS:X fleet, with Laurence Bonneau-Charland (CAN) in second and Nicole Level (MEX) in third. The Youth leader in the RS:X is Juan Varela (MEX) in first, Mack Van den Eerenbeemt in second and Zane Feder (CAN(ON)) in third. In the 293 fleet Geronimo Nores (USA) sits in first, followed by Mariana Aguilar (MEX) in second and Anthony Swaelens (CAN(QC)) in third.
Tomorrow is the last day racing with three races scheduled for all fleets, except for the 29ers with four races. Racing is set to start at 11:00 am.
Prizing giving and closing ceremonies will be tomorrow after racing at Portsmouth Olympic Harbor.
