2015 ISAF Youth Match Racing Worlds to take place in Swinoujscie

The venue for the 2015 ISAF Youth Match Racing World Championship has been revealed as Swinoujscie, Poland. Located in West Pomerania in the North West of Poland, Swinoujscie is one of the most attractive destinations for sailors and tourists in Poland.

Following a bid process, an ISAF Match Racing Committee appointed working party made a recommendation to the Committee who voted in favour of Swinoujscie.

ISAF Competitions Manager Jon Napier said, 'Swinoujscie has an excellent record of hosting ISAF Graded match racing regattas in recent times.

'With a superb fleet of TOM28 boats the race action on the Baltic Sea will be of exceptional quality with the world's best young match racers going head to head.

'With good wind conditions and excellent experience of hosting top international events the second edition of the ISAF Youth Match Racing Worlds will be a memorable experience for competitors and officials.'

The inaugural ISAF Youth Match Racing World Championship is set to be held in 2014 in Helsinki, Finland from 23-27 Event website

Mandate Three-Peats J/105 Canadians
They added yet a few more pickle dishes to their already over-stuffed trophy shelves by winning the championship Host for this year’s regatta was the world-famous Royal Canadian YC, also home to the largest J/105 fleet on Lake Ontario. Sixteen boats were treated to three-days of good racing, with seven races completed by the close of racing on Sunday.

MANGO Mashes 30th J-Jamboree
The Lake Winnipesaukee SA, the Winnipesaukee YC, J/80 Fleet one, and Fay's Boat Yard held the on Lake Winnipesaukee A highly talented fleet of fourteen teams participated in this year’s regatta. In the end, it was the Annapolis crew on MANGO, led by their fearless leader Ken Mangano, that won the regatta and earned the title of J/80 East Coast Champion!

The sun never sets on J's sailing worldwide
