Cruising Yacht Club of Australia announces that Southern Engineering Services (SES) has joined the CYCA's Youth Sailing Academy as a sponsor of one of the Elliott 6.0m training vessels for three years.

SES provides engineering and key product support services to a mix of customers in steel, coal mining and metals mining, heavy materials handling, chemical, construction, general engineering and water treatment process industries.
SES is also the Australian agent for No Skidding the world’s leading anti-slip decking solution that is made with marine grade adhesion and is UV resistant.
Andrew Wenham, Deputy Chairman of Southern Engineering Services said the company decided to sponsor the CYCA’s Youth Sailing Academy as part of their commitment to the marine industry. Commodore Howard Piggott thanked SES for their support of youth sailing. 'The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia prides itself on providing one of the leading youth sailing academies in Australia. Elliott sponsorship is vital to the ongoing maintenance of the training fleet and provides support for the many programs and regattas that the CYCA’s Youth Sailing Academy conducts,' said Commodore Piggott.
'A new fleet of Elliott 7.0m boats will be launched in August next year to coincide with the 20 year anniversary of the foundation of the Youth Sailing Academy. A program of activities is currently being planned to mark this occasion,' he added
