CSM to co-skipper on training run to Bermuda

The skilled CSM (Chris Stanmore-Major) is set to join Derek on the 14th June on a training trip to Bermuda and back. Chris (more commonly known as just CSM) is a two time circumnavigator having skippered the Clipper race boat Qingdao in the Clipper Around the World Race in 2009/10 and around again in 2010/11; this time singlehanded in the Velux 5 Oceans on Sir Robin Knox-Johnston’s Open 60 renamed Spartan.

Combined, Derek and Chris have accumulated more than 300,000 nautical miles of ocean sailing.
