October's edition of CNN Mainsail, the highly respected global sailing programme follows the hectic life of Ken Read.

He is a man of many hats - President of North Sails, Skipper of the world's most exciting monohull Comanche, TV commentator for the America's Cup, twice Volvo Ocean Race skipper and America's Cup helmsman.

He talks with CNN's Shirley Robertson about his life and experiences in this outstanding three segment documentary. It's an exhausting but energetic ride following one of the busiest people in sailing, and will take you to places that you have never been before.

Read's passion and dedication to sailing is clear to see and the outstanding video series shines a light on a man with an exciting vision for the sport.

Plus he is one of the nicest people in sailing, who never forgets that sailing is about having fun.

Take some time out, hunker down and join CNN Mainsail presenter and double Olympic Gold medalist, Shirley Robertson on a tour of the world's largest and most advanced sail manufacturing loft in Nevada, to the start and finish line of the Rolex Fastnet aboard the supermaxi Comanche, and the TV compound of the America's Cup World Series.
