Bring on 2012

The first few months post the Olympic are the most important for a countries success at the following event, as athletes decide their path forward. One of the keys to the success of the British sailing team has been their ability to retain Olympians for another tilt at the podium.
This week the 2008 Beijing Laser Gold Medallist, Britain’s Paul Goodison has announced he is looking for a sponsor for a 2012 Star class campaign.
Tom Slingsby, who stumbled to 22nd in Qingdao says ‘I will campaign in the Laser class for the 2012 Olympics in London. I am better than my result in China and I will do everything in my power to bring home Gold for myself and for Australia in four years time.'
