Bay of Islands Sailing Week- One more sleep + Video

Day 3 Bay of Islands Sailing week 2013

With just one more sleep until the start of Bay of Islands Sailing Week, Lesley Haslar reports:

The rigging of the North Sails Tent was quite an exercise with 40 knot gusts to make it exciting. Volunteers, committee and race officials lent a hand in the organisation and by early afternoon it was a functioning location.

The tent and surrounding area was full of greetings from old mates and adversaries – all looking forward to the first day on the water.

Wind for Wednesday looking like 10 – 15 knots with a clear sky – great for some of those on the water shots and video footage from Ocean Photography, and the trusty Bay Regatta Volunteers.
