Australian Radio Sailing Nationals - Brad Gibson made the long trip back home to Australia from the UK where he is currently living to race in three of the four classes being conducted by Kogarah Bay sailing club National championships. The dominance was greatest in the Marblehead and IOM class and proves that International competition standards are the level to be judged upon.

Brad sailing a UK designed Starkers in the high performance Marblehead class managed to win 16 out 23 races. Second was current Australia champion Lincoln Mcdowall in his home built Fuzzy Logic design and third place went Tasmanian Denis Mcloughlin in his ever reliable German designed Skalpel.

The most popular International One Metre Class with 52 entries saw Brad again dominate the series sailing an own design 'Britpop' winning 14 from 20 races sailed! A remarkable effort as competition was by no means easy with many past and current state and Australian champions competing for the silverware.

Paul Jones sailing a new Jeff Byerley designed 'evo' placed second winning the last 2 races of the series in much lighter conditions than were experienced in days one and two of the four day event. Third in the IOM s was Mark Patterson from QLD, an excellent result being a newer competitor to the ever popular sport of Radio Sailing.
