The inaugural day of the 2014 Pegasus Airlines Alacati PWA World Cup saw the opening races of the week completed in winds of 11-20 knots. Registration was soon completed between 10am and 11am, allowing the real action to begin. A much smaller gathering at this Int'l 18 Regatta than in most recent years, due primarily to over extended schedules, eight teams hoisted sail and carried on the tradition of the International 18's on San Francisco Bay.
