Hugs and Champagne welcomed the newest Moth World Champion Nathan Outteridge (AUS) to his home shores Hugs and Champagne welcomed the newest Moth World Champion Nathan Outteridge (AUS). Samantha England (AUS) beat out American Lindsay Bergan by one point for the title of leading lady at 47th and 48th place.

It’s the battle of the breeze as the steady 24 knot East-Northeasterly tore down the racecourse. It’s the battle of the breeze as the steady 24 knot East-Northeasterly tore down the racecourse, with max gusts recorded during the first (and only race so far) at 27 knots. With Silver Fleet postponed on shore, Gold Fleet danced the 'You Launch First, Mate' before the daunting trek to the start line.

Zhik Moth Worlds extreme conditions left their marks on me and the boat today. Zhik Moth Worlds extreme conditions left their marks on me and the boat today. Managed to complete two of the three races but was unable to compete in the third. It was a total physics lesson today with vmg's, displacement and material strength testing.

Nathan Outteridge flawlessly handled the gusty 16-18 knot Easterly on Lake Macquarie at the 2011 Zhik Moth Worlds. Just another day at the office for Nathan Outteridge (AUS) who flawlessly handled the gusty 16-18 knot Easterly on Lake Macquarie at the 2011 Zhik Moth Worlds during the final day of the Qualifying Series. In the last start of the day he blasted off the line at 20 knots, after dipping the line from above the start boat.
