Weymouth Sailing coverage - Online advertising packages - consider now

Sail-World Aus on iPad SW
We live in a ‘now’ world, sailors want NOW news! Forget about an audience waiting two months for print news, many of them can’t wait two hours!!

50% of our Sail-World audience do not wait to sit down with their laptop or their desktop computer to discover the latest news on Sail-World – they come on line on their mobile phones and tablets.

So marine businesses have to advertise online. It makes sense after all - to catch fish you have to fish where the fish are!!

This is a huge year for Australian sailing. The 2012 Olympic sailing regatta starts in Weymouth on Sunday July 29 2012.

Australia has a good chance of a record medal haul. We won four Gold medals at the final pre-Olymic regatta in Weymouth. Tom Slingsby, Matt Belcher and Malcolm Page, Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen are on top of their game. Olivia Price and her Womens Match Racing crew took Gold on the weekend in Weymouth. Brendan Casey and The Golden girls Elise Rechichi and Belinda Stowell, Jessica Crisp and Krystal Weir could all stand on the podium. - this is going to be an exciting regatta for Australia and the build up will be huge.

Sail-World.com, the largest marine news network in the world, will have its biggest Olympic media team ever on the water in Weymouth.

Six very experienced sailing journalist/photographers - Richard Gladwell, Bob Fisher, Mark Chisnell, David Schmidt, Rob Kothe and Spanish and French speaking Jeraldine Murphy, along with some highly regarded photographic contributors will all be bringing their perspective to the Sail-World coverage.

By mid-2012 the monthly unique audience across Sail-World.com’s U.S., Canadian, U.K., European, African, Asian, New Zealand and Australian sites will be bumping on 250,000 visitors and across the year there will likely be 2.5 million unique readers who are spending much more time on the Sail-World sites than audiences on other marine sites.

Sail-World’s Olympic preview newsletters are already running and there will be 24 more in the series.

During the 2012 Olympic coverage Sail-World.com will send out 140,000 dedicated newsletters each day - overall a record total 3.5 million event newsletters. These will be regionalised so advertisers will get best possible exposure in their own markets.

Currently Sail-World.com has 45,000 North American online newsletter subscribers across its racing and cruising sites in the USA and Canada, another 45,000 in the Asia Pacific and 20,000 in UK, Europe and Africa. UK and Europe are our fastest growing markets, as the London Olympics approaches.

The Weymouth regatta and Sail-World’s intensive coverage provide a perfect online 2012-2013 launching pad for marine industry organisations wanting to reach the largest marine audience in their target area.
