A moment away from all the hype of the Hobart race to remember a true professional and gentleman in the industry.
Gary Ticehurst was probably one of the best helicopter pilots around and certainly the best I have ever flown with. Known as the guardian angel in the 98 Hobart we will all remember him when the boats leave Sydney on Boxing day this year.
We miss you mate and always have you in the back of our mind on Boxing day and every time we fly.
