Simrad will be hard to miss at the 2007 Melbourne Boat Show with its fully-integrated, next generation exhibit.
The massive Simrad product range will be displayed as if it’s installed on a real vessel, with flush-mounted autopilot and wind instrument panels, right through to various radar units fitted to a replica bridge tower – all functioning in simulation mode for show patrons to discover their internationally-renowned power and precision.
Simrad’s national business development manager Glenn Davidson said the innovative stand design demonstrated the high level of commitment the company had to educating people about Simrad products.
'Patrons are encouraged to make the most of the hands-on exhibit, while experienced technical experts will be available to answer any questions and conduct regular demonstrations,' Mr Davidson said.
'To complement this highly-informative, interactive display, we’ll also have on hand all the latest product brochures, newsletters and other material which people can take with them and review in their own time.'
Among Simrad’s huge range of autopilots, chartplotters, radar, sonar, gyrocompasses, GPS receivers and VHF radios on display, will be the very latest in integrated navigation systems, the Glass Bridge (GB60).
