Sanctuary Cove Boat Show - Stefan Boats to add colour and lustre

by Sanctuary Cove Media on 26 Mar 2015
Stefan Karnic 2760 - Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show - Stefan Boating World Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show http://www.sanctuarycoveboatshow.com.au/
In their third SCIBS since starting operations three years ago, Coomera-based Stefan Boating World will be at Sanctuary Cove in full and delightfully rainbow-hued force.

“We will have an amazing display in the Marine Village,” says Steve ‘Stefan ’Ackerie’s wife, Rose King. “Fabulous boats, many for the first time in Australia and even some world launches. We will have boats in fibre glass, RIBS, big and little boats, and for every interest and budget.”

On show will be the range of Karnic powerboats, made in Cyprus to exacting standards. “They are beautifully made fibreglass boats, manufactured using high-tech CAD equipment, Smart Production Control and foam injected moulding system.”

Stefan Boating World will have the entire Karnic range at SCIBS, and will be hosting the world launch of the Smart1 – 48 and Smart1 – 55 models. “Whether you’re looking for a luxury day boat or hardcore fishing boat, these boats can be kitted out however you wish,” explains Rose.

The centre piece of Stefan’s display will be the impressive 2965 Karnic cruiser, with 4-berth cabin, sundeck, swim platform for up to ten people, powered by two Volvo 190 engines.

“We already have two very interested parties for this incredible boat,” states Rose, adding that the brand appeals to all kinds of people, from doctors to fishermen and even other boat dealers.

“We have become Karnic’s number one dealership in the world, they are proving so popular.”

Another part of Stefan’s exhibit will be the premium US brand, Scout, the versatile boat range that is ideal for leisure, family boating or fishing. They will have a selection of high field RIBS on show, which are sturdy and stable chase boats, support vessels and tenders.

As a dealer for Yamaha engines, Stefan will have a range of motors at SCIBS as well.

World champion powerboat proponent, and hair entrepreneur, Steve ‘Stefan’ Ackerie will be on hand, along with operations manager Tim Atkins who knows boats and motors inside out.

Steve, who says that along with hair, boats are his passion, states that his intention is to make boating more accessible to all kinds of people. “I have dreamt of one day being able to offer amazing different styles of pleasure boats at affordable prices. Stefan Boating World is the culmination of a lifetime of my own boating pursuits, in competition and for pleasure.”

For a bit of “Girl Power”, the Stefan makeup tent will be back again this year, promoting the all-new Stefan professional makeup line, and highly-trained makeup artists will be offering visitors small re-touches or complete transformations, providing haircare tips and their own colourful brand of styling advice.

“We are hoping to construct a massive rainbow at the entrance to our display too,” says Rose, enjoying the concept of creating heightened impact for the brand and its namesake.
