Giles Scott - Finn - ISAF Sailing World Cup Hyeres Gabor Cserta
ISAF Sailing World Cup Hyeres - Another dominating display from British Finn sailor, Giles Scott as he continues to show the way for a very competitive fleet.
Graduating from the Laser class after finishing sixth in 2006, the lanky Briton won the Finn World titles in 2011 but he missed Olympic selection and was forced to sit on the Nothe Gardens Hill and watch Ben Ainslie take Olympic Gold in the Weymouth 2012.
Scott came back into the class in 2013 has since then has won regatta after regatta.
Back to back Finn World Championships in 2013, 2014. Rio Test event and World Cup events.
Going into the Medal race in Hyeres a very relaxed Scott knew he only had to finish the race to win Gold.
Looking ahead to Rio it’s hard to see anyone like to put a bump in Scott’s Road to Rio.
Sail-World recorded this interview with Scott on the launching ramp today.
