Organisers of the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) have announced that for the first time since 1999, on-site parking will be available at the 2015 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

Visitors to this year’s SCIBS will be able to travel via land, water and air, with up to a dozen transport options available to make accessing the 27th annual event easier than ever.

Up to 1,000 parking spaces per day will be available on-site at Sanctuary Cove, located close to the entry of the show or via a short shuttle ride. Parking must be pre-booked online.

There’s also the free Park ‘n’ Ride coach service from Warner Bros Movie World, and helicopter transfers from Marina Mirage and Jupiters Casino (Jupiters’ guests only). Water taxis, limousines, Surfside Bus Services and a ferry service from Hope Harbour Marina are also available.

Free shuttles will also be provided to and from the show from Helensvale Train Station.

Those planning to come by private vessel can moor securely in the Coomera River, within tender distance of the show, and the VMR will happily bring you in on their purpose-built RIBs. Just radio in and organise.

The Boat Show team is pleased to improve access and convenience with on-site parking and to have Movie World back as a partner for the free Park ‘n’ Ride service.

The Park ‘n’ Ride service, available exclusively for Boat Show patrons, offers visitors the ease of parking at Movie World with regular free coach services to and from the Show.

A regular ferry service will operate to and from the Hope Harbour Marina where an all-inclusive park and ferry ticket is available for purchase.

Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show general manager Johan Hasser said visitor access is a priority for 2015 and the team was pleased to provide improved transport options this year.

'We are thrilled to be bringing back the option for visitors to park on-site. While the parking spaces will be limited, we know this will be a drawcard for a lot of people including exhibitors and their clients,' Mr Hasser said.

'With more than 40,000 visitors expected to attend this year’s Show, we are pleased to secure again in 2015 our partnership with Movie World which was a huge success in 2012 and 2013.

'All our transport options allow visitors to make the most of their time at the Show and enjoy the full program of events for the whole family including live entertainment, a kids’ zone, celebrity cooking shows and the popular Women on Water events.'

The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show takes place from 21 to 24 May 2015, attracting more than 40,000 visitors to a spectacular showcase of marine products and more than 500 boats across four action-packed days.

Endorsed by Tourism and Events Queensland and a highlight on the Gold Coast social calendar, the Show is one of the most important marine events in Australia, providing marine enthusiasts and non-boaters alike the opportunity to enjoy entertainment, wonderful food and displays in a vibrant marine village location.

The Show has secured an exciting promotional partnership with RACQ, Auto Clubs Australia-wide and Club Marine, providing more than 7.8 million members with valuable online ticket options for the 2015 event. If you are an RACQ or interstate Auto Club member, you can purchase one-day tickets online at 50 percent off the gate price, a $12.50 saving on each ticket.

20% discounted tickets to the 2015 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show are now also available for purchase online from now until the end of the show.

*Terms and conditions apply.

As an added bonus, visitors who buy their tickets online will also go into the draw to win a five night 'Whitsunday Rent-A-Yacht' charter holiday on board the Perry 43 Prestige catamaran 'Nemo', valued at $5,775. *
