Some San Francisco sailors swear that the water temperature on the bay was still a few degrees warmer than normal after being sliced and diced for months by the America's Cup boats, but everything else was back to normal on day two of the 49th annual Rolex Big Boat Series, hosted by the St. Francis Yacht Club. With 107 boats registered, and over 600 sailors competing in seven classes, the Rolex BBS is the premiere annual yacht racing event on the SF bay.

Phuket King’s Cup 2016 – A Mark of Respect
Blessings on His Late Majesty for having inspired one of Asia’s greatest sailing events. For the past several years it has been a tradition at the Phuket King's Cup regatta to conduct a Sail Past on 05 December, in celebration of the birthday of His Majesty King Bumiphol Adulyadej. Since the sad demise of His Majesty, today’s Sail Past was a Commemoration rather than a celebration, and it was held on 09 December. The official name of the late King is Rama IX.

Strong winds continue on Day 4 of Sailing World Cup Melbourne

Rio Silver medallist, Tonci Stipanovic finished second in both today’s races and is currently lying third overall, while Australia’s Tom Burton is in fourth overall. Burton scored a 12 and a five in today’s two races.
