RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show – Do you have a burning sailing question? Need some expert advice before the racing season, or want to find out how our British Sailing Team stars are shaping up in their preparations for Rio 2016?

You can pick the brains of Britain’s best at the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show (5-6 March), where several top British Sailing Team talents and Olympic medallists will be on hand throughout the weekend to share their campaign experiences, tips and tricks.

London’s Alexandra Palace will once again be transformed into a dinghy sailor’s heaven as the annual show provides the perfect start to the dinghy sailing season, with talks and coaching sessions and all the latest boats and gear to get you sailing faster.

Whether you’ve never set foot in a dinghy or you’re already a seasoned pro, the show offers something for everyone and remains the only exhibition in the world dedicated exclusively to the sport – and what better time to celebrate than with the Olympic and Paralympic Games just six months away?

London 2012 silver medallists Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark, world number one windsurfer Bryony Shaw, Paralympic gold medallist Helena Lucas and the indomitable three-time World Champion Finn sailor Giles Scott will be among the British Sailing Team members on hand on Saturday 5 March.

On Sunday 6 March, two-time Olympic medal-winning windsurfer Nick Dempsey, 2012 silver medallist Luke Patience and the World Championship-winning Paralympic Sonar team of John Robertson, Hannah Stodel and Steve Thomas will be among the British Sailing Team stars available.

The team members will be giving an insight into their Games preparations in the ‘Road to Rio’ talk at 1245 (both days), and you can find out more about what it takes to build a medal-winning team at the British Sailing Team’s feature display in the Palm Court, where you can also buy replica kit from the team’s limited edition Zhik retail range.

If you’ve set your own sights on becoming a future medallist then the sailors will also be calling by the RYA British Youth Sailing/Volvo Cars stand, and RYA staff and representatives from Class Associations will share information and advice on how to get involved with all levels of racing from club or regional level through the British Youth Sailing Pathway.

British Sailing Team partners, Zhik, Harken and Marlow Ropes are among the exhibitors showcasing their latest gear and gadgets at the Show, so feel free to stop by to chat about how they might help your dinghy sailing Tickets are on sale now, with reduced rates available for RYA members and RYA affiliated clubs (purchasing 10+ tickets).

You can activate your show ticket or exhibitor pass at the Sailing World Cup stand to gain free access to the spectator area at the Sailing World Cup Weymouth and Portland on Saturday 11 June, and witness first-hand the British Sailing Team’s stars in action at their final major regatta before the Rio Games!
