Princess escapes from Burning Yacht
by BW Media on 7 Sep 2008
A Saudi Arabian princess has narrowly missing immolation in a megayacht on which she had been cruising the Greek Islands.
The 30 metre yacht, Mana, a product of the Turkish shipyard Akdeniz (Mediterranean), caught fire off the Island of Poros last week. There were five passengers on board, reportedly members of the Princess's family, and six crew.
All were evacuated before the yacht, which was quickly engulfed in flames, sank shortly after the evacuation.
The yacht, which had been available for charter, was on the way from Spetses to Kalamaki.
