Petersville Regatta – The Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron
Welcome to the brand new, breathtakingly beautiful Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron. We look forward to showing you through our amazing new Clubhouse and introducing you to all the fabulous facilities on offer.

Blairgowrie is located on a thin strip of the Mornington Peninsula, facing Port Phillip in the north and Bass Strait in the south, nestled between the popular beach resorts of Rye and Sorrento. A vibrant village, Blairgowrie is situated opposite the Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron facing the bay beach, with wonderful restaurants, specialty boutiques and convenience stores. Calm and safe sandy beaches front onto Port Phillip which are popular with swimmers and sunbakers. Spectacular walks and scenery can be enjoyed in the Mornington Peninsula National Park which runs along the rugged Bass Strait coastline.

The brand new Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron opened its door in September 2015. The state of the art facilities provide the family based membership with dining, function and sailing facilities. On the upper level, the Southern Waters Room and Racing Lounge bistro offer year round dining opportunities with a fabulous menu. A bar services all areas, including a huge deck with one of the best views on the Peninsula. Downstairs has a contemporary canteen providing all the usual meals and snacks you would expect, and it is the one area that is open to the public.

The location is second to none, providing sailors with direct access to the water and marina as well as a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the Bay and the Club atmosphere.

One of the key aspects to the new Clubhouse is the standard of events that the venue will be able to cater for. Be it a very special seaside wedding, corporate meetings, fundraisers, private parties and first class functions, the Club knows how to pull together the finest bespoke events. From the culinary options, decorations and seating arrangements to the standard of the staff and unparalleled view, the new Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron Clubhouse is bringing a fresh new look to special events on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula.
