Founded by Sir Robin Knox Johnson, the first person to sail solo non stop around the world, this epic event is the longest ocean race in the world covering a distance of 40,000nm. The race has always had an environmental awareness however for the first time Ocean Crusaders will be represented. Sean Manchester from California, USA will compete in the seventh Leg of the race. This leg consists of two races, a 3300 mile race from San Francisco to the Panama Canal followed by an 1800 mile race from Panama to New York
