Photographer, Alex McKinnon, has been out on Melbourne's Port Phillip over the recent days. The East coast of Australia has turned on the usual amount of Summer change, and with it all the fun that this can bring. It has been a superb time for sailors and then animals, depending on which day you happen to be talking about.
From the OK Dinghy World Championships at Black Rock Yacht Club to the Mercedes-Benz Mornington Couta Boat Nationals from the Sorrento Sailing and Couta Boat Club and many a beach in between, here is her vision. Whether gentle conditions or fresh to frightening breezes that have prevailed today and the 50 knot gusts made it very interesting, the odd craft did not fair too well, at all!
