New Privilège Serie 6 a revolution in multihull design

The new Privilège Serie 6 is breaking new ground in the multihull industry. Kate Elkington
Privilege Marine has just launched the exciting new Privilège Serie 6 catamaran, which is revolutionising multihull design and performance.

Superseding the immensely successful Privilège 615, the Serie 6 incorporates an array of innovations to deliver a catamaran with sleek lines, increased load capacity, a spacious interior and impressive performance.

Designed by naval architect Marc Lombard and the team at Privilège Marine, the Privilège Serie 6 has sharp lines to minimise resistance and help achieve optimal performance at various speeds, while the increased volume in the ends reduces pitching and limits variations in the trim.

Structural rigidity is enhanced with windows embedded in the hull, while the nacelle continues to be an impressive hallmark of the Privilège range and provides extensive storage facility at its base.

The Privilège Serie 6 has 180m2 of sublime living space, with its interior exquisitely designed to exude light, space and serenity. Finishes are available in either maple, cherry, lacquer or oak to suit individual client preferences, and the saloon features a decadent daybed, lounge with library, generous dining table, and abundance of storage.

The dedicated navigation station has amazing views and excellent access. With the option of being located up in the saloon area or down in a hull, the cutting-edge galley has the quality and fixtures typically only found in much larger yachts.

Outside, the catamaran’s cockpit is well protected from the elements and boasts a starboard saloon with teak dining table and sumptuous seating throughout, including a luxurious sunbed.

Upstairs, a massive flybridge offers an additional haven for relaxation with guests able to enjoy the views while cruising or at anchor from the quality lounges and table setting.

Additional highlights of the Privilège Serie 6 include a V-shaped boom, a carbon mast that reduces weight while delivering maximum strength, generous transoms for easy boarding and safe access for watersports activities, and a spacious aft platform to facilitate tender management.

The Privilège Serie 6 is available in a four-cabin layout featuring an impressive six metre wide Owner’s Suite that accommodates an expansive 1.80m ‘floating’ bed. The suite is a tranquil haven and enjoys ample natural light and ventilation, as well as a sleek and generous ensuite.

Each of the three roomy guest cabins has its own private ensuite with separate shower, and there is also a convenient crew cabin that accommodates up to two people.

As with all Privilège catamarans, clients can tailor the equipment and layout of the Serie 6 to suit their individual needs.

The Privilège Serie 6 is priced from AUD $3million with orders now being taken for delivery to Australia, New Zealand and southeast Asia.

Further information on the Privilège Serie 6 can be obtained by contacting Multihull Solutions on 1300 855 338 (within Australia) or 0508 MULTIS (within New Zealand), +66 8 1894 1530 (within Asia), emailing info@multihullsolutions.com.au or visiting the website.
