NSW Youth Sailing Team - Deadline for applications announced

Applications for New South Wales Youth Sailing Team close on March 23rd, 2015

The Yachting NSW Youth Sailing Team (YST), is one of the most successful youths sailing teams in the country. The team is well known as a training ground for some of Australia’s best sailors with members winning State, National and World Championships across the range of classes.



The selected athletes are from designated junior and youth classes and all coaching is conducted by State Sailing Performance Coaches to ensure a consistent high quality. The coaching program is also designed to develop athletes’ skills required to gain a State Sailing Performance Program Scholarship.

Applications for the team are currently open but close at 5pm on Monday 23rd March 2015. There will be a ‘Try Out’ weekend on Friday 27th March for those who are selected to be assessed.

America's Cup Defender christened "Taihoro"
