Armel Le Clèac'h of Banque Populaire VIII - Vendee Globe 2016-2017 V.Curutchet
Musto proudly announce the triumph of skipper Armel Le Clèac'h of Banque Populaire VIII. Congratulations to Armel on his victory and we eagerly await Jérémie Beyou’s third place finish in what is the most demanding ocean race on earth. Musto would also like to extend their support to Alex Thomson, the British skipper aboard Hugo Boss for a phenomenal race that has challenged Armel right down to the finish line.

This is a feat Musto are especially proud of given the victory of their Abu Dhabi Volvo Ocean Race team in 2015, which now mean's the brand's teams hold the two most prestigious offshore sailing titles in the world. Decked out in Musto's industry leading HPX range from head to toe, both Armel and Jeremie, have been able to take on the most extreme ocean conditions on the planet, and have now emerged victorious.

Armel Le Clèac'h said “The more confidence you have in your clothing (like your boat), more you feel good and the more you can perform mentally and physically. That’s why I wear Musto.”

Victories such as that of Musto's Vendèe Globe ambassadors, are testament to the continued innovation of the world's leading sailing brand, and Musto's commitment to ensuring they provide the most advanced sailing gear available.
