Maxi rivals set for Land Rover Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race 2014

Land Rover Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race 2014 - A strong fleet of over 50 yachts will be racing in the Annual 384-nautical mile Sydney to Gold Coast Yacht Race.
The race starts on Sydney Harbour at 1pm this on Saturday 26th July, 2014.
Two maxis will be competing within the race, Robert Oatley’s Wild Oats XI and Perpetual Loyal. On-board Loyal this year will be Australian Cricket Captain, Michael Clarke.
The first boats in the fleet are expected to arrive sometime on Sunday, depending on the weather conditions, an update will be emailed shortly.
Southport Yacht Club will be hosting the finish of the race, conducted between Sunday 27th – Wednesday 30th July.
