Major upgrade in progress - We have been experiencing rapid growth over the last three months and we are currently adding another two servers to speed up the sites. Some elements of the site may show errors as our team is still working to bring everything on line. Please bear with us.

NB. If you listen very carefully, with sound up loud or with headset on, you may hear the sounds of jackhammers and concrete mixers from behind the temporary walls, or if its a morning or afternoon tea break, you might just hear the whirring of the propellors on the hats of our IT team. But then again you may not. (;--)

Paul Elvstrom - Sailing’s true Champion
Ralph Roberts (NZL) competed with Paul Elvstrom in the 1960 Olympics in the singlehanded Finn class. Ralph Roberts tell of how he first met his great friend Paul Elvstrom in 1958 - Late in the afternoon I had a tap on my shoulder by a big man who spoke to me in broken English” do you need a hand I can help you make this Finn go faster”. To my surprise it was Paul Elvstrom Triple Olympic Gold medalist from Denmark, whom I had only seen a photo of him before.

Paul Elvstrom - Tribute from A Sailor
